Message from the PTSA President
On behalf of the Executive Board, I want to extend a warm welcome to everyone as we are well underway in the 2023-24 school year! Here are some of the amazing things our all volunteer PTSA board and chair people have been working on:

All of our programs are up and running on campus for our kids.

We surpassed last year’s membership numbers including having 100% of our teachers joining PTSA.
-
Our website has been revamped, and we have lots of information and pictures from school events on our Instagram and Facebook pages.
-
Our Student Store is open during am and pm snack and lunch, and is accepting credit and debit cards for purchases.
-
We are now selling Uni logo spirit wear at the Student Store.
-
We have 4 amazing class representatives keeping our PTSA members informed of class specific news, events, and advice through their class newsletters.

We have 4 language parent groups at UNI: Chinese, Latino, Korean, and Farsi. (If you are interested in joining one of these groups, please email me and I will put you in touch with our Parent Representatives for these groups.)

We are starting a Sponsorship Program to increase donations from local businesses

We are busy planning Grad Night for our seniors.
The money we raise from membership, donations and the Student Store go to Uni’s academics and fund our important programs that promote commUNIty and student health and wellness.
Look out for our weekly newsletter with timely information about school functions, volunteer opportunities, and a list of upcoming events, so you can plan ahead. All of our general PTSA meetings are in person this year; we are especially excited to meet new parents as they enter the Uni community.
Uni’s PTSA is committed to supporting excellence in education at all levels – from students to teachers and staff. Whether you are a parent, teacher or student, we’re here to represent and support you every step of the way. Please join us to support the UNI in COMMUNITY.
