How can parents, students, and teachers get involved?

  • Become a PTSA Member!  Visit our for more information. membership page

  • Volunteer at the Student Store!  This is a GREAT way to meet Uni students and parents, and help with one of the PTSA's most  successful initiatives.  Click here for Store information

  • Speak a foreign language?   Interested in helping other parents and learning about other cultures?  Uni Parents wishing to share  their experiences -- and Uni parents needing a little help to understand and navigate American high school life -- come together in the Each One Teach One program (EOTO).  EOTO is actively seeking parents to participate, especially parents with second language skills willing to serve as a resource to others.  Please contact Chhavi Chawla at cgabac@gmail.com

       for more information.

  • Volunteers are needed at Parent Coffees. Contact PTSA President if you can help.

  • Donate your Board Games: Christine King a Health teacher at University H.S. would like some new or gently used board games for her classroom. In particular she would like: Monopoly, Life, Backgammon, Clue, Scattergories, Categories, Yahtzee, Taboo, Risk,Pay Day, and Battleship. If you have these laying around and would like to donate them or buy new ones, please drop them off at the University H.S. front office with Christen.

  • Donate your young Adult books :Additionally, 9th grade English teachers will start implementing a sustained silent reading program.  They'd like to have donations of high interest novels such as John Greene, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, etc. for the students to borrow.  If you have these books and others laying around, please consider donating them to University H.S. Or if you’d like to go purchase a book and donate it, that would be appreciated too. Again, please drop them off at the University H.S. front office with Christen.
